We're tried to keep a little tradition going... although we're not sure what happened last year...
It's always so much fun to get kids together for some carving, well the kids usually play and the parents carve, but that's ok! At least there was delicious food to eat right?! and good company!

and yes I was determined to collect each and every seed... even though the girls thought I was nuts! They must have felt sorry for me because they both helped at one point!
Super fun night! Great company, yummy foods, muddy carpet, sticky goo all over the kitchen floor, a bazillion seeds to roast, Ben honing in on his knife skills (yikes!), chicken loves, superman Ben running laps, 3 pumpkins still left to carve... (who knew the warty ones would be soooo hard to carve! They require power tools!) Thanks for joining us and for those of you that didn't make it... there's always next year!
I thought I'd share.... Ben asked if he could take his pumpkin to bed last night and well I guess me sayin no meant he should hide it.... Colten found it this morning in a bathroom cupboard... haha!
