Mid July brings us finally into REAL summer round here....and a very sweet, wild, brave, silly little boys birthday! 3 years has flashed before us... We've so quickly exited the baby years for a much more independent I want to be like my big brother kind of stage. Stubborn and often times completely unreasonable, but so hilarious and kind hearted. Here's a bit of his birthday day's... yes it went on for days!
Birthday breakfast request... pancakes with strawberries!
Ice Cream after lunch... of course it's your day!
Notice the wacky spoon...
of course you need a wacky spoon!
Wow... what's in that ice cream
Mama's Affogato ice cream!
*a shot of espresso over ice cream!
IT'S AMAZING!
Too much fun... someones needin a nap!
Yep he slept in my arms on this 3rd birthday...
His gift to me... just reminding me that although he was turning 3, he'd still fit just fine in my arms!
After resting time we built a foil river!
Amazingly fun... I thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Ben thought it was fun to send ants down the river!
Colten tested out his lego boat building skills...
It was going great....then...
Ben started eating the cardboard foil tube...
who are you??? and how are we related?
HAHA!
Evidently his diet is lacking fiber!
Ben the true survivalist... yes that's a snake around his neck!
Apparently we are now on the Amazon river..
Those poor drowning Lego guys!
There's a serious Lego addiction going on here...
I have the imprints on the bottom of my feet to prove it!
Wow wait, grab the camera...
You have to capture these moments... this is the picky eater.. the one that will eat a slice of bread over a juicy steak...
He's eating raw kale!!
Rockin the bike wash at our little backyard bbq
Wow that's some cold water, I can't even feel my face...
This looks perfectly safe...
The Dad powered go cart!
Dump truck parking only!
Some soccer..
Some ridiculous gluten free brownies, homemade magic shell, real whipped cream and strawberries.... can I get a do over please?!! Num Num!
Ben and his new birthday turck!
IT'S LOVE
And we'll wrap it all up with this....
Yes it was totally stuck, and I mean totally stuck! He has the marks to prove it!
Hopefully he won't be doing that again!
