So I came across this picture tonight.... Wow I don't even know when this was taken, I know if was Valentines Day, we were at the Timberhouse and we were with some good friends. I don't remember the food but I do know that the happiness you see on my face is still felt everyday. Amazing how this California girl who loved to shop at the mall, lived for talking on the phone and the laying on the beach, would come to live in hillbilly paradise, fall in love and leave all that city stuff behind. Having experienced both I'd never in a million years volunteer to go back! I love life in the country! If you would have told me 15 years ago (ughhh wow really did I just say that?) that I'd marry a redneck, enjoy riding around in a muddy old pickup truck, love listening to country music, love to fish, love to hike and camp, that I would own a hickory shirt and a pair of Romeos I would have thought you were out of your mind.... But here I am and proud to call myself a Country Girl.
