A local campground that is closed during the winter sounded like a fabulous adventure on this absolutely amazingly beautiful Saturday! So we loaded up Papa's bike and Colten's new bike from Santa and headed out.
Yeah we're here....
Hang on Mom I need some sticks...geeesh
I know Mom cant take a decent picture... but here's my sticks
Ok hang on Mom I gotta go bang them on something...
Like a pro... Santa was a little concerned that a 16" bike might be a bit to big... but not for this fearless 4 year old!
They were havin a ball....
You better knock it off with your cuteness kid...
Oh my gosh the sun felt soooooo wonderful... almost like a reminder that every things gonna be okay...
Of course not everyone can look at the same time... don't know how family shots with large families work...
I love this one!
The fog rolling through...
There's the Falls
Me- "Honey what are you doing back there?" Hubby- "It's a cool shot"
The falls again... breath taking...
Ben decided to do some exploring of his own... there again something Colten would have never done... my crazy Ben! Almost totally camouflaged too!
Ben is such the little hiker... he had to of put on at least 1.5mile on those little legs!
I love this one too...
We all needed this!
He's so not my LITTLE boy anymore....
I told the hubby that I need this water feature in my backyard... I hope he knows I wasn't kiddin either...
My boys... They are the best!
I think this one is really cool... but I'm weird I know :)
Ben didn't make it back to the car on his own little legs... I was able to take his shoes and jacket off without waking him up... I think we wore him out...
I'm so very grateful for today... The sunshine, the fresh air, the roaring falls it was like a soul cleansing day.
It was spent with the ones that fill my heart to the brim!
