It really didn't hit me until the night before... Colten has grown soooo much not only out of his shoes and clothes but as a little person. This mama couldn't help but have a little bit of sappy reminiscing as I tucked my GIANT now 5 year old in for bed the night before his Preschool Graduation. What leaps and bounds a year has made... he's come a long way and I soooo look forward to the education adventure we are taking "together" this coming school year! How lucky and blessed I feel to have the opportunity to be a full time mom... how ever tiring, stressful and exhausting... oh wait I said that already... Yeah I'm tired!! So a bit of our big day.....

Teacher went through each child describing them just a little bit... When she got to Colten, I couldn't help but get a bit nervous as I had no idea what she would say about him...She went on to tell the audience how he always comes into the classroom in the morning with a smile on his face and loves to share things that he has learned at home with the class! Yeah I was definitely beaming... Way to go buddy!

She's absolutely amazing!! She definitely holds a special place in our hearts as it's no simple task to nurture the hearts and minds of Preschoolers...
(a fun little fact... Mrs.Babik's husband was my teacher when I was in High School... how fun to have this little connection with Colten)

And so our Preschool journey comes to an end... Sad yes but exciting as well! I'm sure I will sigh a bit a relief when next week rolls around and we don't have to rush around dropping off and picking up... it will be nice to take a break from the busyness of school and refocus on being with both my boys all day everyday... and that was meant to sound like a good thing... really!
