Oh my.... my sweet Colten the day after he entered this world,
was this really 5 years ago?
As the days creep closer, I know that in just a few days we will be celebrating Colten's 5th Birthday.... What an amazing 5 years it's been! Sleepless nights and all I wouldn't change it for a second!
We decided to let Colten decide what the birthday plans would be... and without a single idea given to him... his first choice was lunch at the Space Needle (he's never been so where this idea came from I'm not sure) but I think I may be just as excited as he is.... as my last trip to the Space Needle was when I was 6! It's been a while for Jeromy as well, so what a fun memory to all make together... well except for Ben that is... he'll have to wait for his first trip! This trip to Seattle will only be for a certain 5 year old! He went all sorts of crazy when he found out that baby brother would be going to Bobby's so he could have a day alone with us! We have some other surprises planned for our City adventure so stay tuned for an update!
We figured this would be a great way to make some special memories and instead of throwing a party... we'd wait for the weather to be at it's best, and Colten can invite all his little buddies over for some summer fun on the slip n' slide!
Turning 5 and finishing Preschool.... some big milestones happening this month! I couldn't be more proud!
