This little idea first started out as an outdoor kitchen.. you know with tea cups and little crumpets... then I woke up and remembered I'm the only girl here... so a mud kitchen would have to do...
We found the perfect spot down by the creek in our little forest...
Colten did a great job decorating the kitchen area..
A bunch of noise coming from the bushes... yep found that beauty... apparently laying while free rangeing feels more natural... so this egg should taste better right??
Signs are up and we're open for business...
Everyone makes mud pies in their skivvies right?
Ben must have missed that memo... he likes to cook in the nude...
Ben got right to work and even enjoyed painting himself and me...
He was lovin it like I hoped he would... Colten on the other hand screamed like a little girl when I rubbed some mud on his arm... then he was done mostly...
Moms like mud too... sometimes

He's going to be my little baker I just know it!
Ok so you make me a pie and I'll sit over here enjoying my mud "spa" treatment

Ben loaded up brothers skivvies and we headed in to get washed up! I'm glad at least one of the boys enjoys my little spark of playfulness...
Next time Colten says he'll be our best customer... he says we should use fake money even! Sounds good to me! Maybe we'll paint some rocks for our moneys... Sometimes I have some good ideas... and sometimes they're total flops
The mud pie kitchen... well I think I'll decide after I clean out my bathtub...
