Here's what we've recently been up to....
An appointment to get the suburban an alignment gave us the perfect opportunity to stop in and visit some friends... Colten was needing some wrestling time..
Nice one!
What a tough guy... no tears or anything...
The tough guy that gave him the nose bleed on the other hand... well he felt sooo awful he was the one cryin... poor guy!
Ok so if you haven't guessed... I indeed am very very loved.... A new camera was in the box the other day... can you tell? It's amazin and makin me soooo sad that I didn't have it long ago! No more edits to these photos... they are totally fantastic all on their own... right?!
Wipin Colten's nose... what a sweetheart... once the bleedin stopped they were right back at it.. BOYS?!!!
Snack pickin...
Yes that's my son and yes he's naked..... again!
They're just babies.... sorry bout your garden Becky! I'll keep the "bunnys" out next time!
Ok isn't this the cutest chicken coop sign EVA!
Munchin...
We didn't get to stay long but it was soooo great to catch up with a friend, watch the boys be crazy boys and finally get a tour of their new place...
Back at home....
My sweet Scarlet.... still the cutest one in the bunch!
And well just a couple days after our fun visit to the McFarland homestead.... we returned for sweet Ella's 3rd Birthday party
Here's a shot of the most amazingly fake lookin REAL flowers I've ever seen! :)
If you know thebarefootseamstress you'd know to expect incredibly adorable party décor!
So simple, so sweet!
Speakin of sweet!
Happy Birthday Miss Ella Mae!
Some serious chicken talk going on here!
This one melts my heart... and makes me want a cupcake all at the same time!
Ahhh they slowed down, but only for a second!
Pin the tail on the pony... so sweet Jonah guided Colten to the perfect tail location, what a guy!
Too sweet!
There's that sweet coop again!
Yee Haw!
Great party, great company! Really great food!!
Colten practicing his artist skills!
I'm trouble... you can see it right...
Heart melting.... yet again!
Just a swingin...
Coop update: And it has windows!!
Water beads are totally worth the hype... I even liked playin with them! Good Cheap fun! You can even let them sit out and dry up so you can use them over and over again!
Their awfully Purdy too..
I'm thinkin this one needs to be blown up and put on my wall... "Counting Cows" we'll call it!
Some extreme Larsen Swingin... gulp... no I'm not up next!!
Ahhh geez the boys just love this old go-cart... and it doesn't even require gas!
I say we keep it that way!
Yep naked kids again! sorry they do own clothing! really!
The go-cart is Papa Powered... who needs a motor! Just have Papa work a 10hr day and have him push you up the hill!!
Proof that there are THREE kids in my house.... Jeromy comes up to me and with the face of a 10 year old says, "I wanna take the go-cart down the big hill and I want you to film it...I'll wear a helmet?!" OMG really! What a great role model these other kids have! I'm in so much trouble!
He says it was a little sketchy comin around the corner...
YUM...
Ok so other big big news.... One of Izzy's babies hatched!! And to think we'd just about given up on those two eggs. We went out and candled them on Sunday night and after checkin the airspace I said I thought we were really close like maybe a couple days... look at me soundin like some sort of chicken expert...(BAHAHA) well no joke two days later when Jeromy and I went out to check on Izzy before going to bed... we heard some little tiny peepin!!! and the next day I was able to get these shots....
This has by far been one of the most exciting things we've experienced with our feathered family... to know we did something right... and well Izzy did most of the work but the fact that we can facilitate Mama and baby now means we can hatch our own from now on! What an amazing thing to share with our boys!!!!
Chickens are awesome just so you know!
