First official pool party of the summer... Colten had such a hard time being mellow around these girls who didn't want to be splashed...
I'm still tryin to figure this one out... haha! Gosh those are some cute little girls!!
Tons of snacks consumed, no sunburns, and no injuries... party was a total success!
Ok how in the world did this little dude get in my bathtub?
yeah weird! good thing he was cute, I'd much rather find him than some giant spider! you?
The chick-ies are growing like crazy and the little cage was getting a little tight for them, so Jeromy went to work building them a bigger brooder! It turned out awesome!
They were a bit overwhelmed by their new large space... there was lots of peeping, until we took some cardboard to partition off a part of the brooder... then they were feelin a bit more cozy!
I'm not sure what he was upset about, but it's cute non the less!
Colten and his gang!
Ben had to jump in for a shot!
Lovin our vintage play tiles purchased from Bobbie's garage sale!
After a cavity free visit to the dentist, and being the superstar patient of the day we headed to this totally awesome park... I mean look at it, Mom was even loving it!
Ben found something to drive...
I still can't figure out how this is safe... 3 tires stacked on top of each other over a hole in the floor that goes down to a tire swing... a mom totally didn't approve this one!
Who doesn't love ridin in a weird red swing?...
Colten's sleepin in the weird red swing...
He's a monkey! Always has been!
Some how with my stealthy ninja mom moves I was able to capture this incredibly sweet moment between my boys... totally candid!
It was shocking so I had to move fast!
Chick-ies got a new toy... Jeromy built them a sweet little roost to play on!
Yep it was time for some boating.... row boat style!
It's the 4th of July, we must do some sort of boating right?
This was Ben's first time in a boat... the ferry doesn't count!
Excuse us ducky family!
Colten found tons and tons of these "almost" frogs! haha
Ok so it wasn't all rowing... thanks to our awesome trollin motor!
Gosh the boys look totally thrilled right?
That's a little better, now I might feel better about buying life vests for everyone!
Colten loved rowin!
love this one!
Mom just had to get a shot of the tiny dragonfly!
Sorry excuse us again!
They are slightly creepy...
OMG the most amazing corn EVA! Thank you Chimacum Corner Store we love you!
Our BBQ would not have been complete without Corn and watermelon!
Jeromy was able to finish up "The Hatchery" haha this is where we moved Izzy our Mama sitting on two eggs due to hatch in just a few days.... now they have a safe location to grow! ;)
Awww some summer Shastas!
Gorgeous!
A funny story goes with this one!! Annie told me to buy it, it was on clearance and only a few dollars, I had totally been lookin for a little something to plant in this location that would eventually hide these hideous cables going into the house... well little did I know these get 10' to 12' tall! YES that's FEET TALL! AHHHH!!!!!
Colten my little corn husker! and Jeromy getting our campfire going!
Ben apparently needs to rake something...
Colten saying a little prayer before we dug in... "Thank you for this food, Amen!"
Amen indeed! YUM!
Vanilla ice cream, a tiny cone (we didn't realize how tiny they'd be!) and Mama's famous coconut oil magic shell topping!!
Ben approved!
Wow on your eye lid... really!
The rough life.... right?!
Now watermelon...
A Mom never really gets her own does she! He's lucky he's cute!
Ben loved sparklers!
We took a walk to pass some of the time waiting for it to get a bit darker out... lovin me some sweet peas!
Oh boom yeah... haha
A dead snake...
It's just how we roll!
Colten was cropped out of this one, cuz he had a creepy eye! haha
It's fun to be hopped up on sugar and play in the dark!
Colten was totally going goofy on us!
ohhhhh ahhhhhhh!
Colten required ear protection... wow!
Bet you can't guess what's going on here... yep my boys...ALL of them are using their sparklers on a slug!! Ughhhhh I just cant relate... I hate slugs though so it's all good!
What a great Forth! A couple invites to other events, but with new chicks at home, all the comfort of home, delish food, and boys that for the life of them can't make it past 9:30 home was the best place for us! Only a day or two before Izzy's eggs hatch!! Only a couple more weeks until our babys can go outside, and parts to our new chicken coop we're brought home.... our free time has definitely gone to the birds!!
