Living a more simple life...

I'm excited to share with you some of our favorite household product recipes as well as other information I've collected over the past few years as Jeromy and I have moved more towards simple country living...



I don't want to confuse granola making, deodorant making, laundry soap making with any kind of stereotype... because we are not trying to re-live the 60s... we are too redneck for that... haha

Living off the land with minimal commerical interation sounds wonderful to us... but for the time being unrealistic... so for now it's just finding little things to change so we know we're doing the best we can to raise a happy healthy family.  And really that goes beyond food...

For us, making things such as laundry soap or deodorant, is more about simplifying things than saving money... believe me saving a buck these days is great too, but we currently live in such a chemical filled world... Why not make some of your own stuff, so you know what's in it and can feel good about putting it on your body or washing your babys clothes in it.
