For Ben's 4th birthday he said he wanted to go camping... so we planned a trip to Rim Rock Lake...
We left from Seattle.. where we went to our first appointment for Colten with a Rheumatologist. A extremely sad and depressing place to camp... both our camping neighbors had children receiving chemotherapy. We wished them the best after leaving our appointment and headed toward the lake. How lucky and blessed we are to be leaving with our child.
Three hours later we arrived at Rim Rock...
The cousins had already arrived and found our spot... and this awesome osprey nest close by
Yep wont see much of them for a while... well until they get hungry!

In the blink of an eye...boom he's 4!
Mom baked some cupcakes and decked it out with a tea light...
After cupcakes we said good byes to the cousins and packed up and moved to the site next door...
We read books...
and went swimming
and tubing..
and relaxed...
